On July 15, the external implementation agreement of the China-assisted Uzbekistan wind power Station project implemented by the general contracting management of China Energy Construction Xinjiang Institute was officially signed in Urumqi. The project is the first foreign aid project that China can build in Central Asia, further deepening the clean energy cooperation between China and Uzbekistan, and injecting new momentum for China to build a new energy market in Central Asia. Li Xuan, Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and Mahmudov, first vice chairman of Uzbekistan Water and Energy Co., LTD., attended the signing ceremony.

Li Xuan said in his speech that the project conforms to the consensus of the two heads of state and will help Uzbekistan's clean energy development and effectively benefit the local people's livelihood. It is hoped that the project will start as soon as possible and all parties will work together to build it into a new model in the field of new energy development and economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and Ukraine. Mahmudov expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Chinese government for its assistance and appreciated the profound friendship between the two peoples. He said that China Energy Construction has invested in a number of renewable energy projects in Uzbekistan, with strong comprehensive strength and rich construction experience, which is the best choice for the construction of the project. The Uzbek side will provide full cooperation and support for the construction of the project, and hopes that the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation and help Uzbekistan's green and low-carbon development.

The China-assisted Uzbekistan wind Farm project is located in Tashkent District, Tashkent Prefecture, 2 km from the left bank of the Tashvak Reservoir and about 90km from the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. The project includes four wind turbines with a capacity of 5 MW and supporting equipment, as well as a 35 kV switching station. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
