The first test pile of Shenzhen Airport East Station on the Shenjiang Railway was successfully drilled on the 1st, marking the official start of the construction of Shenzhen Airport East Station. It is reported that Shenzhen Airport East Station is located at the core of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. It is the main station of the Shenzhen Yangtze Railway and the departure station of the second Guangzhou Shenzhen high-speed railway. It is responsible for the important division of labor between the Shenzhen metropolitan area and the the Pearl River Estuary air rail intermodal transport. The Shenzhen Airport East Station project is planned as a fully underground station, with a yard size of 6 units and 14 tracks, 1 above ground floor and 3 underground floors, and a total construction area of 487500 square meters. The project contractor, China Railway Sixth Engineering Group Co., Ltd., introduced that the first test pile drilled this time is designed to be 17 meters long with a diameter of 0.8 meters. It is drilled using rotary drilling and poured with C45 underwater concrete. After the completion of the Shenzhen Airport East Station project, it will build a new core of efficient intermodal air rail services in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, integrating air, rail, land, and sea transportation.
