[18 projects have been signed in the Ma Zhong Guan Dan Industrial Park] On September 4, 2024, Fatil Ismail, Consul General of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Nanning, introduced that as the first flagship cooperation project jointly built by Malaysia and China, the Malaysia China Kuantan Industrial Park has signed 18 projects with a total investment of about 50 billion yuan, and is expected to create more than 14000 job opportunities, greatly benefiting the people of both countries. On that day, the celebration of the 67th anniversary of Malaysia's National Day and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and Malaysia, with the theme of "Towards Friendship and Gathering China Malaysia Highlights", was held in Nanning, Guangxi. About 200 government and enterprise representatives gathered together to look forward to the blueprint for all-round cooperation and development.
