Recently, the national energy group Guoshen Company has made a breakthrough in the major new energy project in Hami City, Xinjiang, with the precise hoisting of the last wind turbine impeller in place, marking that the project's 128 high-performance 6.25 MW wind turbines have fully completed the hoisting task, officially entering the fast lane of grid-connected power generation.
The project is located about 168 kilometers southeast of Yizhou District, Hami City, as the second batch of clean energy base projects in the Shagehuang area of the country, its scale is large, covering 800,000 kilowatts of wind power and 200,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation capacity. The project carefully plans 128 wind turbines and supporting 200,000 kilowatt photovoltaic facilities, and plans to build two 220 kV booster stations, and at the same time expand the 500 kV booster station in the Hongxing Power Plant to ensure that the power can be efficiently connected to the main channel of Xinjiang power transmission from Hami to Zhengzhou, and realize the long-distance transmission of green power.
The project is not only a key power supply support point in Xinjiang Power's eastward transmission strategy, but also an estimated annual power generation capacity of 1.935 billion kWh after its grid-connected operation, equivalent to a reduction of about 1.51 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, which is of great significance for promoting the regional green and low-carbon transformation. After the completion of the project, it will be officially awarded the honor of the national large-scale wind power photovoltaic base project, highlighting its outstanding contribution to promoting the coordinated development of society, environment and economy, and injecting strong green energy into the sustainable development of Hami and the surrounding areas.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
