On September 20, 2024, it was reported that Xiangneng Chutian Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. recently won the bid for the construction and installation of the onshore centralized control center of China Resources Power Cangnan 1 # Offshore Wind Power Phase II Expansion Project, with a winning amount of up to 39.99 million yuan. As an important layout of China Resources Power in the eastern sea area of Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, this project marks a new stage in the construction of offshore wind power in Cangnan.

The total scale of the project reaches 200MW, with plans to deploy 24 8.5MW wind turbines and build a modern offshore booster station and onshore control center. Since its launch on February 18th this year, progress has been smooth. After the project is expected to be put into operation, the annual power generation will exceed 740 million kilowatt hours, which will not only provide solid support for Zhejiang Province to achieve the goals of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", but also deeply promote the optimization and adjustment of local energy structure, effectively reduce environmental pollution, and promote green and low-carbon transformation.

At the same time, the implementation of this project will also become a new engine to drive local economic growth, promote the coordinated development of related industrial chains, and inject strong impetus into the sustainable development of Cangnan County and even Zhejiang Province.
