On September 23, 2024, PowerChina and South Africa's well-known African solar energy company officially signed the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the photovoltaic power station in the center of Germany, marking an important step in the cooperation between the two parties in the field of green energy in South Africa.

The project is located in the town of Dea in the Northern Cape of South Africa, with a total installed capacity of 342 MW, which not only highlights the grandeur of the project, but also makes it the largest single installed capacity photovoltaic power plant project in South Africa, which is of great significance to promote the clean energy transition in the local area and the whole of South Africa.
