On September 24, 2024, Daikin Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. announced an important commercial development when its wholly-owned subsidiary, Penglai Daikin Marine Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., has successfully signed a key contract for an offshore wind power project in the Baltic Sea region of Europe. The contract focuses on the manufacturing and supply of ultra-large monopile foundations, and Penglai Daikin will undertake the production of 10 ultra-large monopiles tailored for the project, with a total contract value of up to 46 million euros, equivalent to about 361 million yuan.

The offshore wind project is strategically located in the Baltic Sea region and is led by one of the world's leading companies in the energy sector. Daikin Heavy Industries' winning the bid not only demonstrates the company's deep strength and outstanding performance in the field of offshore wind power equipment manufacturing in Europe, but also fully trusts and affirms its efficient execution ability and high-quality delivery record by overseas customers.
