Recently, the 10th Hydropower Bureau solemnly launched the construction curtain of the Datang Yunnan Lugudi 50 MW photovoltaic power generation project, marking the official entry of this clean energy milestone project into the substantive construction stage. The project is located in Qiubei County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with beautiful scenery. It spans multiple villages such as Nijiao Township, Zhongzhai, and Xiaobaxin, covering a vast area of about 1300 acres, fully demonstrating its important position in the local green energy layout.

The Lugudi Photovoltaic Power Generation Project highlights its grand scale and advanced technology, with a planned installed capacity of 50 megawatts and an actual installed capacity increased to 65.61 megawatts. Through carefully arranged 19 photovoltaic power generation arrays, up to 114100 high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules have been installed, building a modern green energy base. In addition, the project also includes the construction of an advanced 35 kV switching station to ensure efficient and safe power transmission.

The project is expected to achieve full capacity grid connected power generation by the end of this year. At that time, its annual average power generation will reach an astonishing 87.14 million kilowatt hours. This figure not only means a continuous supply of clean energy will be injected into the power grid, but also saves 26200 tons of standard coal for the environment every year, greatly reducing the environmental pressure caused by coal-fired power generation. The Lukudi Photovoltaic Project will play an irreplaceable role in reducing emissions of atmospheric pollutants such as carbon dioxide, smoke, and sulfur dioxide, and contribute significantly to safeguarding blue skies and white clouds and promoting ecological balance.

From a deeper perspective, the successful implementation of this project will significantly optimize the local energy structure, promote the rapid development of the green energy industry, and inject strong impetus into the energy transformation and sustainable development of Wenshan Prefecture and even Yunnan Province.
