On November 25, the second "Liangzhu Forum" jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Cutural Heritage Administration and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province was opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
The current Liangzhu Forum, with the theme of "Exchange, Mutual Learning, and New Forms of Human Civilization," invites over 300 Chinese and foreign guests, including archaeologists, writers, musicians, and others from more than 60 countries and regions. The attendees will conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as "Reproduction of Civilization - Archaeology and Diversity of Civilization Forms from a Global Perspective," "Creativity of Literature - Resonance of World Literature and Development of Human Society," and "Advancement of Music Spirit - Modern Echoes of Chinese and Foreign Music Traditions.
The forum fully leverages the empirical role of the Liangzhu Site, combining historical and global perspectives, focusing on key areas such as cultural heritage, literature, and music, conducting in-depth theoretical research on civilization exchange and mutual learning, exploring practical paths, planning cooperation directions, and consolidating consensus among cultural circles of various countries to jointly implement the Global Civilization Initiative.
