The groundbreaking ceremony of the Cameroon Douala River Embankment Road project undertaken by China Communications Construction First Public Bureau Group was recently held on the banks of the Uri River in Douala, the economic capital of Kazakhstan. Samuel Diedone Ivaa Dibois, mayor of Kabinhai District, and Roger Mubesa Endina, mayor of Douala, attended the start-up ceremony. According to the First Public Administration of China Communications Construction, the project is located in Douala, Cameroon's coastal region. A four-lane urban main road will be built along the Uri River. The total length is about 10 kilometers, connecting the first, second and fifth districts of Douala. At the groundbreaking ceremony, the project team introduced in detail key technical points such as road structure. Subsequently, the mayor of Binhai District personally directed the excavator to shovel the first shovel of soil, marking the official groundbreaking of the project. Douala is Cameroon's economic capital and largest city, and has been severely congested within the city for many years. After the project is completed, it will significantly improve the traffic conditions in the areas along the route and improve the travel convenience and quality of life of citizens.(This article is from Jiandao official website www.seetao.com, reprinting without permission, otherwise it will be investigated.
