Sinosteel Equipment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinosteel International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., recently won the bid and officially signed the contract for coal injection and sintering project with Kardemir Company in Türkiye. The cooperation includes the construction of a 2 × 30t/h coal injection workshop in EPS mode, covering dry coal shed, powder production and injection system, as well as the renovation of the sintering workshop mixer in EP mode, aiming to help customers increase the blast furnace coal ratio to 180kg/t and improve the quality of sintered ore.

It is worth noting that the coal injection project will adopt an intelligent injection system independently developed by China Steel Equipment, which can achieve one click operation, continuous injection, and uniform injection. In terms of control accuracy, safety performance, and energy conservation and environmental protection, it has reached the leading level domestically and even internationally.

Previously, China Steel Equipment had successfully completed the major overhaul projects of Kardemir's 1 # and 4 # blast furnaces, establishing deep mutual trust. The signing of this new contract marks a new stage of cooperation between the two parties and reflects the competitiveness of China's metallurgical technology and engineering general contracting services in the international market.
