Today, as artificial intelligence technology sweeps the globe and the digital economy profoundly reshapes the international economic and trade landscape, China and ASEAN are working together to write a new chapter in intelligent cooperation. On September 18th, the signing ceremony of the 22nd China ASEAN Expo was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi. This event is hosted by the China ASEAN Expo Organizing Committee and jointly organized by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Industrial Park Reform and Development Office and the China ASEAN Expo Secretariat. The theme of this signing ceremony is "AI takes the lead, enterprises are the main body", focusing on international cooperation in artificial intelligence and cross regional industrial chain and supply chain construction, and promoting the implementation of a number of exemplary cooperation projects.

A total of 155 projects were signed on site, covering three major categories: industrial cooperation, "artificial intelligence+" applications, and international economic and trade. Among them, there are 94 industrial projects, 44 "AI+" empowerment projects, and 17 international economic and trade projects.

After 21 years of development, the China ASEAN Expo has become an important open cooperation platform for both sides, hosting over 200 economic and trade promotion and business dialogue activities, successfully promoting China ASEAN cooperation as the most dynamic regional cooperation model in the Asia Pacific region. This signing is the latest achievement of deepening economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two sides, which will further promote the deep integration of China and ASEAN's industrial and supply chains, and inject new momentum into regional economic development.

This year's signed projects highlight the characteristics of accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence and multiple industries. 44 "Artificial Intelligence+" projects cover the basic layer, technical layer, and application layer, and are widely used in manufacturing, services, agriculture, cultural tourism, and other fields, marking the continuous deepening of artificial intelligence empowerment and bringing strong AI driving force to China ASEAN cooperation.

In terms of international cooperation, the signed projects cover six ASEAN countries including Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Indonesia, covering multiple fields such as the construction and operation of artificial intelligence innovation centers, modern stone processing, intelligent production of agricultural products, biofuels, and paper processing. These projects will further strengthen the industrial policy coordination and park cooperation between China and ASEAN countries, and help build a more stable and efficient regional industrial and supply chain system.

The successful holding of the signing ceremony for the East Expo not only injects strong "AI momentum" into regional cooperation, but also demonstrates the firm determination of China and ASEAN to jointly move towards a digital and intelligent future. With the gradual implementation of these projects, China ASEAN cooperation will inevitably usher in closer industrial chain coordination and higher quality innovative development, making new and greater contributions to promoting the construction of an Asia Pacific community with a shared future.
