In 2025, China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Southwest Company officially won the EPC general contracting project for the Kota Kinabalu Ring Road project in Malaysia. This important project is not only the third EPC project undertaken by China Construction Eighth Engineering Division in the East Malaysia region of Malaysia, following the Kota Kinabalu Twin Towers and Sabah Bintang Comprehensive Building, but also an important milestone for the company to continue to deepen its cultivation in the field of high-end housing and super high-rise buildings in Malaysia, fully reflecting the company's brand influence and technical strength in overseas markets.

The project is located in the core area of Likash Bay in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, covering an area of 40656.09 square meters with a total construction area of approximately 397800 square meters. The project plans to construct 4 towers with a height of 148 meters and a maximum of 42 floors, including 1 underground floor and 41 above ground floors. As a modern urban complex, the project will integrate various formats such as high-end serviced apartments, Grade A office buildings, commercial retail, and supporting facilities. After completion, it will become the most representative landmark building complex in the core area of Kota Kinabalu.
