In recent years, Chinese energy storage companies have continued to break through in the global market, demonstrating strong international competitiveness. In 2025, this trend will become more apparent as three companies, Jingke Energy, Ruipu Lanjun, and Yuanxin Energy Storage, successively obtain major orders in markets such as Australia, the United States, and Europe, with a total scale of 9.44GWh, marking the widespread recognition of China's energy storage technology in the international market.

JinkoSolar's Garoo solar and energy storage project, developed in New South Wales, Australia, has recently received government approval. This comprehensive project includes a 134MW photovoltaic power station and a 360MW/1440MWh battery energy storage system, covering an area of 306 hectares. The project is scheduled to commence construction by the end of 2026 and is expected to be fully operational by 2028. By then, it will generate approximately 380 GWh of renewable energy annually, providing clean electricity security for the local area.

Ruipu Lanjun has signed a 2026 supply agreement with internationally renowned energy storage company Energy Vault to supply 3GWh of energy storage systems. This is another important progress in the internationalization layout of Ruipu Lanjun, following the cooperation reached with Japan's Hanwa Kogyo and South Korea's Xiaoxing Heavy Industries this year. In recent years, the company has continued to expand its global market and has established subsidiaries in Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and other places. It has also invested in building its first overseas battery factory in Indonesia, with an expected annual output of 8GWh of power and energy storage batteries.

Far Eastern Energy Storage has reached deep cooperation with three energy companies in Poland and signed orders for 5GWh energy storage products. This cooperation brings together professional enterprises in the fields of energy infrastructure, renewable energy development, and engineering construction in Poland, and will jointly promote the development of the Polish energy storage market. As a BNEF Tier 1 global energy storage system supplier, Far Eastern Energy Storage currently has an annual production capacity of over 20GWh, and the global DC side energy storage shipment volume has reached 15GWh in the first half of 2025.

The acquisition of these orders not only demonstrates the technological strength and market development capabilities of Chinese energy storage companies, but also reflects the urgent demand for Chinese energy storage solutions in the global energy transition. With the continuous growth of renewable energy installed capacity in various countries, the demand for energy storage market will be further released.
