India's leading engineering and construction group, La Sentro, recently announced its successful bid for a major energy infrastructure project in the Middle East. According to the contract agreement, the company will cooperate with the Greek Joint Contractors Group to jointly construct a world-class natural gas liquefaction plant and supporting facilities, with a total project amount exceeding 150 billion rupees (approximately 1.8 billion US dollars).
This mega project will adopt a joint execution model, with Larson Trobro primarily responsible for front-end engineering design and key equipment procurement, while the Greek joint contractor group will undertake on-site construction tasks. The scope of project work covers the complete natural gas processing process, including detailed engineering design of the factory, procurement of core equipment, on-site construction and installation, and system commissioning and operation. It also includes the comprehensive construction of all supporting public facilities and off-site systems.
SN Subrahmanyan, Chairman of La Sentro, stated in a statement: "This milestone order fully reflects the international market's recognition of our company's technical strength and execution capabilities in the field of large-scale energy engineering, further consolidating L&T's position as a trusted partner in the global energy infrastructure construction industry. "

It is reported that after the completion of the natural gas liquefaction plant, it will specialize in processing rich associated gas from offshore and onshore oil fields, removing impurities such as hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, and water through advanced purification processes, and ultimately producing high value-added products such as liquefied natural gas, ethane, propane, etc. that meet international standards. Subramanian Sarma, Deputy Managing Director of the company, added, "This project is not only remarkable for its enormous scale, but more importantly, it has introduced multiple innovative engineering technologies, implemented strict long-term reliability assurance measures, and successfully solved complex brownfield interface technology challenges
The acquisition of this significant contract marks a further increase in the influence of La Cit é bro in the international energy engineering market. The implementation of this project will significantly enhance the energy processing capacity of the Middle East region, optimize the local energy industry structure, provide important infrastructure support for regional energy economic development, and also lay a solid foundation for the future undertaking of larger scale international projects by La Cit é bro Company.
