Recently, China New City Communications Technology Co., Ltd. and Saudi Arabia's Jizan Chamber of Commerce officially signed a cooperation agreement to build a modern automobile manufacturing plant in the Jizan area of Saudi Arabia. According to the agreement, the project will have a total investment of approximately 11.6 billion US dollars over the next 15 years, becoming a landmark investment project for China's automotive manufacturing industry in the Middle East.

The project is located in the key industrial logistics hub of Gizan, which is being developed by the Saudi government. It will build a modern automobile production base covering the complete industrial chain of vehicle assembly, core component manufacturing, and advanced mobile technology research and development. It is reported that the project is expected to start construction in 2025, and after completion, it will create thousands of job opportunities, effectively promote the transfer of automotive manufacturing technology to Saudi Arabia, and drive the improvement and development of the local automotive supply chain system.

This cooperation is one of the important achievements of the investment promotion conference held by the Saudi Jazan Chamber of Commerce in Guangzhou. At this promotion event, a total of 44 memorandums of understanding were signed between Saudi and Chinese companies, covering cooperation in multiple economic fields.
