In the vast hinterland of Central Asia, a digital revolution is quietly emerging. As an important node along the Silk Road, Uzbekistan has been continuously promoting the construction of digital infrastructure and actively introducing international technology partners in recent years. Recently, the Minister of Digital Technology of the country, Sherzod Shermatov, held talks with Zhang Jianpeng, Senior Vice President of ZTE Corporation. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on data center construction, network coverage expansion, and talent cultivation, and jointly outlined a blueprint for building a regional digital hub.

ZTE Corporation shared its technological accumulation in data center construction and looked forward to the next stage of implementation plans, including expanding data center capacity to meet the growing demand for digital services.

Expand network coverage
During the talks, Uzbekistan and China discussed strategic cooperation directions in the telecommunications field. ZTE will assist Ukraine in extending digital services to remote and difficult to cover areas, helping to improve nationwide network accessibility. It is worth noting that Uzbekistan's telecommunications operators have ranked among the top in international speed testing ratings, highlighting the active progress of the country's digital industry and laying a solid foundation for further cooperation.

Cultivate digital talents
Talents are the core of digital development. Both parties specifically discussed the training and skill enhancement plan for local professionals, and ZTE will rely on its years of project experience in Uzbekistan to cultivate more local experts through technical exchanges and joint projects. This measure not only strengthens the self-reliance of Ukraine's digital industry, but also reserves key strength for developing it into a digital hub in a wider region.keywords:Infrastructure News
