The global photovoltaic installed capacity has exceeded 2TW, and Egypt is accelerating its pursuit of a 20GW installed capacity target by 2030. Recently, Aiko Solar officially signed a contract with Infinity Power, a leading independent renewable energy producer in Africa, to provide efficient ABC modules for a 259MW large-scale centralized photovoltaic ground power station in the Benabu Solar Park in Aswan Province, Egypt. This is another large-scale landing of Aiko Solar's ABC technology in the energy hinterland of North Africa.

The hardcore challenge in the desert hinterland

Egypt, as a key region for global energy transition, faces extreme challenges while accelerating photovoltaic development: high temperatures exceeding 50 ℃ in summer, frequent sandstorms, high land costs, and conventional components that cannot simultaneously meet the comprehensive requirements of efficient power generation, high temperature tolerance, and long-term reliability. Aiko Solar ABC modules accurately address the core pain points of the project with their high power generation efficiency, low LCOE, and full lifecycle reliability. The project is expected to be connected to the grid in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an annual power generation of approximately 471 million kWh and a carbon reduction of approximately 8.06 million tons throughout its lifecycle.

Become a top developer in the supply chain

This deep cooperation with Infinity Power marks the successful entry of ABC components into the core supply chain of top developers in the Middle East and Africa. The current production efficiency of Aiko Solar ABC modules has exceeded 27%, and the power generation gain advantage is significant in high temperature and high dust environments. Keywords: photovoltaic, new energy

As of 2025, Aiko Solar's ABC modules have cumulatively shipped over 20GW, and its global market presence continues to expand. In the future, Aiko Solar will continue to use technological innovation as its core driving force to promote the implementation of efficient low-carbon solutions globally and accelerate the achievement of carbon neutrality goals.Editor/Cheng Liting
