On January 29, 2021, the No. 1 bored pile of the main pier of the continuous beam of the Yancheng Binhai Port Railway dedicated line across the G228 National Highway Bridge built by the First Company of China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau Group was successfully drilled. It is understood that this is the first bored pile to be started on the entire line, marking the Binhai Port Railway project has officially entered the main construction stage.

Binhai Port Railway Dedicated Line Project

The Binhai Port Railway Dedicated Line Project is located in Binhai County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. It leads from the north throat of Binhai Port Station on Qingyan Railway and moves northeast to Binhai Port Industrial Park Station. The total length of the line is 50.699 kilometers. The 3rd bid of Binhai Port Railway contracted by China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau, with a total length of 17.499 kilometers, the construction of the continuous girder of the G228 national highway bridge, which is one of the key control projects across the line.

It is understood that the Binhai Port Railway Dedicated Line Project is one of the key infrastructure construction projects in Yancheng City, and it is also an important transportation infrastructure supporting the construction of the Yancheng Port Binhai Port Area. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will further improve the regional road network layout, greatly optimize the freight transport structure, and undertake the transfer of industries in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
