On June 6, 2022, the world's largest span arch bridge under construction, invested and constructed by Guangxi Communications Investment Group, the main bridge arch truss of the Tian'e Longtan Bridge on the Nandan-Tian'e Xia Lao Expressway achieved high-precision closure.
The Tian'e Longtan Bridge is located 6 kilometers upstream of the Longtan Dam in Tian'e County, Hechi City, Guangxi, spanning the Hongshui River, with a total length of 2488.55 meters. It is the world's largest span arch bridge under construction and a key scientific and technological project in the national transportation industry. The construction of the bridge has promoted the leap-forward development of large-span arch bridge design and construction technology.
Tian'e Longtan Super Bridge has a total of 48 arch rib segments, of which the longest segment is 30.5 meters, the heaviest segment is 185 tons, and the highest point of the arch rib is 190 meters away from the water surface. The installation is carried out by the construction process of pull buckle and hanging, which requires high precision and is difficult to construct. The arch truss of the main bridge of the bridge realizes high-precision closing, the elevation error of the closing chord is less than 2 mm, the lateral offset of the arch axis is less than 10 mm, and the deviation of the arch circle line and the target line shape is less than 30 mm, providing strong technical support for the construction of the arch bridge.Editor/Ma Xue
