      On August 24, 2022, the Yunnan Maitreya-Mengzi high-speed railway entered the dynamic testing phase of joint commissioning and testing, and the countdown to the opening and operation of the entire line began.

      The Mimeng high-speed railway is located in the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. The main line is about 107 kilometers long, and the designed speed target for passenger trains is 250 kilometers per hour. The whole line will build 4 stations: Honghe Station, Kaiyuan South Station, Pengpu Station and Zhuyuan Station.

      "Joint commissioning and testing is a comprehensive test of various railway systems such as bridges, tunnels, traction power supply, communication, and signaling by using high-speed trains at different speeds after the static acceptance of the new high-speed railway."
