[Anhui Hefei Xinqiao Airport S1 line Shouxian section started construction] Recently, the first pile of the Shouxian section of the S1 line of Hefei Xinqiao Airport was officially drilled, which marks that the project has officially entered the substantive construction stage. The S1 line of Hefei Xinqiao Airport adopts city-area B-type vehicles with a design speed of 120km/h. The line starts at Shushan Industrial Park Station in Shou County and ends at Wulidun Station in Hefei. The total length of the line is 47.5km, with 14 designed stations. The main line of the Shouxian section is about 11.04km long, the elevated section is 8.04km, and the underground section is 2.4km. There are 2 stations, both of which are elevated stations, and a Shouxian parking lot. The total investment of the project is 4.013 billion yuan. Hefei Xinqiao Airport Line S1 is the first urban (suburban) railway project in Hefei. The line connects Xinqiao International Airport and Hefei West Railway Station, two major transportation hubs, and realizes the rapid connection between the city center and the airport group and Shou County Xinqiao Industrial Park group. According to Li Helin, project secretary of Hefei Xinqiao Airport Line S1 of China Railway 24th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the first pile of Line S1 has been officially drilled. The construction of columns and bridges has created favorable conditions.
