[Energy China signed a new green hydrogen plant project in Morocco]Recently, Energy China International Construction Group signed a memorandum of cooperation on the green hydrogen project in the southern region of Morocco with Saudi Ajlan Brothers and Moroccan Gaia Energy. The green hydrogen project signed this time is located in the coastal area of the southern region of Morocco, with convenient port and shipping transportation. The project mainly includes the construction of a production plant with an annual output of 1.4 million tons of green ammonia (about 320,000 tons of green hydrogen), and supporting 2 GW photovoltaic, 4 GW wind power project construction and post-operation and maintenance, etc. After the completion of the green hydrogen project, it will provide stable and clean energy for the southern region of Morocco and Europe every year, reduce the cost of electricity consumption, and help the green and low-carbon development of global energy.
