[List of Successful Bidders for Jiangsu's 8 Billion Major Railway Projects] On June 26, 2023, the public service platform for bidding and tendering in China announced the candidates for winning the bid of the remaining pre station works of the new Nanjing Huai'an Inter-city rail - the remaining pre station works of the Nanjing Huai'an Inter-city rail. The project is divided into three sections, which were won by China Railway Construction Corporation Bridge Engineering Bureau, China Railway Third Bureau and China Railway Fourth Bureau, with a bid price of about 8.06 billion yuan. The newly-built Nanjing Huaihua Inter-city rail starts from Huai'an East railway station in Huai'an City in the north, passes through Hongze District, Jinhu County, Tianchang in Anhui Province, and Luhe District in Nanjing City to the New Nanjing North Station, with a length of 196.505 km. The section from Huai'an East to Huanglou of Lianzhen Railway is 17.14 km. The newly-built line is 179.365 km long, of which the Jiangsu section is 133.893 km long, and the Anhui section is 45.472 km long. There are five stations in total, including Huai'an East, Hongze, Jinhu, Liuhe West, and New Nanjing North. Railway grade: high-speed railway. Number of main lines: double line. Design speed target value: 350 km/h. Maximum slope: 20 ‰ for general sections and 30 ‰ for difficult sections. Minimum railway curve radius: 7000 meters for general sections and 5500 meters for difficult sections. The distance between the main lines is 5 meters. The effective length of the arrival and departure track is 650 meters. Train operation control mode: automatic control. Dispatching and command mode: comprehensive dispatching and centralized.
