Abbas, born in 1992, grew up in Pakistan from a young age. Thanks to the "the Belt and Road" initiative, exchanges between China and Pakistan have become more frequent in recent years. In 2013, after finishing his undergraduate studies at the University of Punjab in Pakistan, Abbas came to Harbin Institute of Technology to study for a master's degree and a doctor's degree. This decision completely changed his future.

When it comes to why he came to China, Abbas stated that the first reason is because the Chinese economy is good; The second is a good life in China; Thirdly, there are more opportunities after graduation in China than in other countries; The fourth is that China is relatively safe. People from Pakistan feel like they have returned home when they come to China. Editor/Zhao E
