[Fujian will build the country's lale capacity of offshore wind power project] The reporter learned from China Railway Construction Co., Ltd. on March 10 that the China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Bureau recently won the bid for the fan foundation and fan installation construction project (second bid section) of the China Resources Lianjiang Offshore Wind Power Project. The project will use 18 MW offshore wind turbines in batches, and will become the largest single-unit capacity offshore wind power project in the country. According to reports, the project is located in the east sea of Lianjiang River, Fujian Province, with a planned installed capacity of 700 MW, and will install 39 18 MW offshore fans, a 220 kV offshore booster station and an onshore centralized control center. After completion, the project is expected to generate 3.3 billion KWH of electricity per year, which is equivalent to saving about 950,000 tons of standard coal and reducing more than 2.6 million tons of carbon dioxide per year.
