On April 11, 2024, Guizhou Jiashang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. officially launched the construction of the second phase of the lithium-ion battery cathode material industrial park with an annual output of 250,000 tons in the northern industrial park of Dalong Development Zone.

This project originated from an investment promotion event in June 2021 and is a key project for industrial cooperation between the east and west. It is invested and controlled by Guangdong Jiashang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Guizhou Jiashang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. is responsible for the actual construction and operation.

The total investment of the project is up to 2.5 billion yuan, covering an area of 400 acres, and will be carried out in two phases. Its main construction content includes an annual output of 100,000 tons of lithium manganate cathode material production lines, an annual output of 40,000 tons of ternary cathode materials, 10,000 tons of lithium cobalt oxide cathode materials, and an annual output of 100,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode material production lines, as well as related supporting facilities. .

The first phase of the project started construction as early as September 2022, and the factory construction was completed in September 2023. The production line also successfully conducted trial production and is now fully operational. The second phase project has also entered the intensive construction stage. Most of the construction machinery has been put into operation. Workers are actively organizing materials and other mechanical equipment to enter the site. It is expected that the main construction of the factory for the second phase project will be completed in mid-August this year. , the production line equipment will also begin to be installed and debugged.

After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it is expected to bring significant economic and social benefits. The annual output value is expected to reach 30 billion yuan, and the total tax payment will be no less than 100 million yuan.
