The two sides discussed the power demand gap in Myanmar and the opportunities and challenges of new energy development, and put forward the direction and suggestions for future cooperation. Zaw Naing Thein believes that the wind power project and the natural gas combined cycle project under cooperation are projects that Myanmar attaches great importance to and are in line with the strategic development direction of Myanmar and the Energy Investment Group. Xie Yihua said that the Group will be based on the main business, using the accumulated experience in the investment development and operation of energy projects in Yunnan Province, on the basis of existing cooperation, cooperation in the development and promotion of incremental new energy projects.
