Since 2024, Fujian Province has been making every effort to accelerate the construction of four major projects: large water network, large water tank, large water supply, and large safety, to ensure safety and stability in the water-related field, and successfully achieved a good start. In the short period of January to March, the province's water conservancy investment reached 15.6 billion yuan, completing 26.9% of the annual plan, and the progress exceeded the expected target by 1.9 percentage points; at the same time, the number of newly started major projects reached 72, accounting for 10% of the annual plan. 36%, showing strong development momentum.

It is understood that in the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province achieved over-time results in the investment and construction of key water conservancy projects. Among them, national key water conservancy projects such as the Fuzhou and Sanming sections of the Min River Mainstream Flood Control Improvement Project, the Kinmen Water Supply and Water Source Guarantee Project, and the Mulan Creek Lower Water Ecological Restoration and Treatment Project have completed a total investment of 1.062 billion yuan, accounting for 25.1% of the annual plan. In addition, major breakthroughs have also been made in the preliminary work of major projects such as the Shangbaishi Water Conservancy Project, water resources development in southwestern Fujian, and the quality and efficiency improvement project of water resources allocation in the Minjiang Estuary urban agglomeration. At the same time, the start-up rate of resettlement support projects has reached 97%, and the completion rate has also reached 88%, showing Fujian Province's comprehensive progress in water conservancy construction.

In addition, three practical water conservancy projects for the people in Fujian Province are also progressing rapidly. Investments of 100 million yuan, 98 million yuan, and 406 million yuan were completed respectively in safe ecological water systems, comprehensive soil and water loss control, and rural water supply projects, accounting for 47.62%, 37.69%, and 40.6% of the annual plan respectively, fully demonstrating Fujian Province's progress in water conservancy. Positive actions and remarkable results in serving the people.

Fujian Province is using the water conservancy digital imaging system to implement strict management of weekly statistics, semi-monthly notifications, and monthly dispatch to ensure that project nodes are effectively controlled and the overall progress is advanced in an orderly manner.
