On the sunny day of May 8, 2024, the Huaneng Huili Baiyan wind power tower production project, carefully planned and undertaken by the Dechang Branch of China Hydropower Bureau No. 4, officially kicked off its construction at the scenic Dechang base. . The groundbreaking ceremony marks the official launch of the project and also heralds another solid step taken by China's wind power industry in the southwest region.

Huaneng Huili Baiyan Wind Farm is located on a majestic ridge at the junction of Huili City and Dechang County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The terrain here is steep, with an altitude between 3,250 meters and 3,800 meters, and the scenery is picturesque. With its unique geographical location and huge wind energy resource potential, the wind farm has become an important part of the national renewable energy development strategy.

The planned total installed capacity of this project is up to 96 megawatts, which is large-scale and is expected to become an important local clean energy base. The project will design and install 16 6.0-MW five-section wind power towers manufactured by Zhejiang Yunda Company. The maximum diameter of these towers reaches 5 meters, and the total height is an astonishing 97.3 meters, like towering steel giants. , standing on the top of the mountain, capturing the gifts of nature.
