On May 8, 2024, the Horgos Railway Port Station and Highway Port Station in Horgos City were busy. It is understood that since 2024, the number of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains passing through the Horgos Railway Port has remained above 20 every day, and the number of trains passing through has remained above 600 per month for three consecutive months.

From the launch of the first China-Europe freight train in 2016 to the end of March 2024, the total number of China-Europe (Central Asia) freight trains passing through the Horgos Railway Port has exceeded 35,000, and the total number of freight train lines has reached 80. Radiating to 18 countries, 45 cities and regions.

At present, the commodities imported by the Horgos Railway Port Station and Highway Port Station are mainly mechanical and electrical products, unwrought copper and copper materials, agricultural products, food, metal ores and ores, etc. The trade volume of imported agricultural products and food has increased significantly.
