[Zhejiang Taishun Pumped Storage Power Station Reservoir Project Starts] On June 3, 2024, the Zhejiang Taishun Pumped Storage Power Station Reservoir Project, undertaken by China Aneng Third Engineering Bureau Chengdu Branch, officially started. Zhejiang Taishun Pumped Storage Power Station is a Class I Large (1) Project located in Siqian She Town, Taishun County, Zhejiang Province. As a daily regulation pure pumped storage power station, it is equipped with 4 reversible pump turbine generator sets with a single unit capacity of 300,000 kilowatts, with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts and an annual power generation of 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours. After completion, it will undertake the tasks of peak load regulation, valley filling, emergency standby, etc. of the power system. At the same time, it has the functions of frequency regulation and phase regulation, and can cooperate with nuclear power and wind power. It can save about 82,000 tons of coal consumption and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 164,000 tons each year.
