On July 1, 2024, Zhuhai Port Group held a grand on-site mobilization meeting for the Guoneng Bulk Cargo Terminal Project in the Gaolan Port Area of Zhuhai Port. The plan for the Guoneng Bulk Cargo Terminal Project in Gaolan Port Area of Zhuhai Port is grand, with the addition of a 100000 ton general berth and two 5000 ton bulk cargo berths each, which will occupy a valuable coastline of 582 meters in total length. The original design intention of this dock was to achieve an annual cargo throughput of up to 17.5 million tons. With the successful completion of this project, the total number of berths at Zhuhai Port will increase to ten, and its annual total designed throughput capacity will also leap to 58.3 million tons. At the same time, the total length of its port coastline will also be expanded to 1890 meters, greatly improving the logistics processing capacity and comprehensive competitiveness of Zhuhai Port.
