[Malaysia's first integrated circuit design park launched]On August 7th, Malaysia's first integrated circuit design park covering an area of 60000 square feet was launched in Puchong, Selangor on the 6th. The launch of this park is seen as a major initiative by the Malaysian government to vigorously develop the semiconductor industry since the release of the Kuala Lumpur 20 Action Plan in April this year. Malaysia's Minister of Economy Rafiz, Selangor State Minister Amiruddin, Selangor State Executive Councillor Wong Si han, and others attended the opening ceremony on the same day. Officials from Selangor state stated that the park has attracted 5 integrated circuit design companies and over 400 engineers to settle in, and has conducted extensive cooperation with semiconductor companies and industry associations from multiple countries and regions, including China. In the future, the park will attract more enterprises to settle in. Huang Sihan stated that the park aims to build a semiconductor ecosystem and promote Malaysia to seize the opportunities of digital economy development. Malaysia has a strong foundation for the development of the semiconductor industry and is the sixth largest semiconductor exporting country in the world. In the first half of this year, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar announced that he would inject at least 25 billion ringgit (approximately 4.47 ringgit) into the national semiconductor strategy to vigorously develop the semiconductor industry. The governments of Malaysia and Selangor state hope to create semiconductor products that are designed in Selangor and manufactured in Malaysia by launching an integrated circuit design park. The construction of the Yangcheng Yuncheng section of the G5518 Jincheng Tongguan Expressway is about to begin. The main line is 150.37 kilometers long, passing through four counties of Yangcheng, Yuanqu, Wenxi, and Xiaxian. It is constructed according to the standard of two-way four lane road, with a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The entire line is equipped with 84 bridges, 12 tunnels, and interchanges and other supporting facilities. It is planned to be opened to traffic in 2028. This section is a key component of Shanxi's "4 Verticals, 15 Horizontals, and 33 Connections" high-speed network. After completion, it will shorten the distance from Jincheng to Yuncheng by about 50 kilometers, saving nearly an hour's drive; At the same time, the travel time from Jincheng to Xi'an will be shortened from 5 hours to about 3.5 hours, significantly improving regional transportation efficiency. China International Engineering Corporation EPC General Contracting Indonesia LNG Project Landing
During a critical period of global energy transition and Indonesia's efforts to promote energy security, China International Engineering Corporation signed an EPC contract for the East Java liquefied natural gas project with Indonesian companies. This move not only marks the successful expansion of the "new track" of oil and gas energy by China International, but also injects new impetus into Indonesia, a major energy consuming country in the region, to optimize its energy structure and promote regional development. As the EPC general contractor, Zhonggong International will leverage its global engineering experience and comprehensive advantages to assist in the efficient implementation of the project. This project is another important achievement of the docking of China's the Belt and Road Initiative and Indonesia's global maritime pivot strategy, opening a new chapter for energy cooperation between the two countries, and also providing a practical example for technology and industrial cooperation among countries in the South.
