[Fuqing Xinghua Bay offshore wind farm promotes energy-saving and low-carbon development] The Fuqing Xinghua Bay offshore wind farm is jointly invested and constructed by Fujian Energy Group and China Three Gorges Corporation. It is located on the southeast side of Jiangyin Peninsula and northwest side of Niutouwei in Fuqing City, Fujian Province. Since its commissioning, the Fuqing Xinghua Bay offshore wind farm has generated over 5.2 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, equivalent to reducing coal consumption by about 1.57 million tons and carbon dioxide emissions by about 3.83 million tons. Following the "dual carbon" goal, the offshore wind power industry continues to contribute green and clean electricity to local society, promoting energy-saving and low-carbon development.
