[Operation of Zhenjiangguan to Huangshengguan section of Chuanqing Railway] At around 8am on August 13, 2024, as the 55880 inspection train departed from Chengdu East Station, it marked the successful completion of the joint debugging and testing of the Zhenjiangguan to Huangshengguan section of the Sichuan Qinghai Railway, officially entering the operational testing phase. This section is expected to be completed and opened to traffic within the year, and "taking a high-speed train to visit Jiuzhaigou" will become a reality. The relevant person in charge of China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group introduced that the operation test mainly includes fault simulation, emergency rescue drills, train operation diagram parameter testing, and train operation test according to the diagram, etc., to test the adaptability of transportation organization under normal and abnormal conditions of various systems on the high-speed railway line, verify whether the train operation organization can meet the operational requirements, and provide technical basis for improving the transportation organization plan. The Sichuan Qinghai Railway starts from Chengdu East Station, passes through Chengdu City and Aba Prefecture in Sichuan Province, Gannan Prefecture in Gansu Province, Huangnan Prefecture, Haidong City, and Xining City in Qinghai Province, and connects to Xining Station. The total length of the main line is about 836 kilometers, with a designed speed of 200 kilometers per hour. The operation test this time is the section from Zhenjiangguan to Huangshengguan, with a total length of about 70 kilometers and four stations including Zhenjiangguan, Songpan, Huanglong Jiuzhai, and Huangshengguan. The section of the Chuanqing Railway from Zhenjiang Pass to Huangshengguan will be opened within the year, and high-speed trains will directly connect to Huanglong Jiuzhai Station. The station is about 26km away from Huanglong Scenic Area, 90km away from Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area Scenic Area and 180km away from Ruoergai Grassland National Park. In the future, tourists will leave the station from here, taking about 30 minutes to Huanglong and about 1 hour and 40 minutes to Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area.
