[China's first offshore green design oilfield completes its first crude oil export] On August 18, 2024, the "Eagle Seat" ship loaded with 25000 tons of crude oil successfully left the Wushi terminal in Leizhou, Guangdong, marking the successful conclusion of the first crude oil export of the Wushi 23-5 oilfield group. The oilfield cluster is located in the Beibu Gulf and is led by green design to achieve "zero discharge" of production water, leading the low-carbon transformation of offshore oil. Under the escort of the maritime department, the "Eagle Seat" ship safely completed the loading of crude oil, and the crude oil worth about 100 million yuan will be transported to Hainan's Basuo Port. The Wushi 23-5 oilfield group is expected to reach a peak of 18100 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2026, producing light crude oil and setting a new benchmark for regional energy development and environmental protection.
