[The traffic volume of the China Europe freight train has exceeded 30000 trains] China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. announced that the cumulative traffic volume of the "East Passage" of China Europe Express at the railway ports of Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiang has exceeded 30000 trains, and 2.91 million TEUs of goods have been delivered, achieving continuous growth and adding new impetus to the construction of the the Belt and Road. As the largest cluster of China Europe freight train ports, this channel accounts for 30% of the country's annual traffic volume, connecting 14 countries including Poland, Germany, and more than 60 cities in China. It transports goods covering 12 categories including electrical appliances, automobiles, and department stores. Since 2013, the traffic volume has surged from 45 trains to 5000 trains, an increase of over a hundred times, and the time required has been significantly reduced. This achievement is attributed to infrastructure upgrades, such as paperless customs clearance through "digital ports" and multiple railway expansion projects. The stable operation of the "East Passage" of the China Europe freight train not only improves transportation efficiency and quality, but also provides solid support for promoting China's foreign trade development and deepening opening-up to the outside world.
