[Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macau signed a memorandum of cooperation] On August 26, 2024, according to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Information Service, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Deepening Talent Exchange and Cooperation between Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macao was held in Beijing on the morning of the 26th. Sun Yuhan, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, who is currently on a visit to the local area, attended the signing ceremony. The memorandum was jointly prepared by the Beijing Talent Work Bureau, the Hong Kong Talent Service Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government Talent Development Committee through friendly consultations, to strengthen cooperation among the three regions in information communication mechanisms, encourage talent exchange, and promote talent introduction and services, providing comprehensive support for the integrated development of global talents in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macao. Sun Yuhan said that the signing of the memorandum would help to implement the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Deepening Reform and Promoting Chinese path to modernization in an All round Way" and support Hong Kong to build an international high-end talent gathering highland. • The construction of the Yangcheng Yuncheng section of the G5518 Jincheng Tongguan Expressway is about to begin. The main line is 150.37 kilometers long, passing through four counties of Yangcheng, Yuanqu, Wenxi, and Xiaxian.
