Recently, the Cangzhou China Railway 50,000-ton oxygen generator construction project responsible for Quanzhou Branch has made important progress, with the first oxygen cold box plate weighing hundreds of tons successfully hoisted in place, marking the project officially kicked off the prelude to the equipment installation stage.

With a total height of 70 meters, the oxygen cold box weighs 340 tonnes of individual panels, while the complex tower equipment inside weighs more than 400 tonnes, demonstrating the sheer scale and technical challenges of the project. In order to ensure that this key hoisting operation is foolproof, the project department has carried out comprehensive and meticulous preparations from the careful review of the preliminary drawings, the careful preparation and approval of the special construction plan, and the careful selection of hoisting equipment and auxiliary tools.

On the eve of the start of the hoisting operation, the project department strictly implements the safety technical disclosure process to ensure that every worker involved in the construction is clear about the key points and safety specifications. At the same time, the assembly accuracy of the cold box board, the layout of the hoisting site and the safety conditions were strictly checked and confirmed for many rounds, until all the conditions met the hoisting requirements, and the hoisting operation was officially started.

Cangzhou China Railway 50,000-ton oxygen generator construction project is located in Bohai New District, Huanghua City, Quanzhou Branch undertook the core tasks of the project, including the installation and commissioning of a full set of equipment, pipelines, electrical and instrumentation such as fractionation tower, pre-cooling system, purification system, compressor unit and backup storage tank.
