On January 21, 2026, the feasibility study (second round) of the renovation and expansion project of the G50 Shanghai Chongqing Expressway Anhui Zhongming Shangshui Bridge section was announced, and Anhui Provincial Transportation Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. became the first candidate for the bid with a price of 5.68 million yuan. This section of highway will be expanded from a two-way four lane road to an eight lane road, with a total length of about 37 kilometers and a total investment of about 3.65 billion yuan. On January 21, 2026, CNOOC (Shanwei) Offshore Wind Power Co., Ltd., a joint venture between CNOOC and Mingyang Intelligent, will lead the Shanwei Honghai Bay Four Seas Wind Power Demonstration Project with a total investment of over 5.8 billion yuan. The project is planned to have an installed capacity of 500 megawatts and intends to install 28 18 megawatt fixed wind turbines, with an estimated construction period of 11 months.
