[CLP Engineering Guangxi Institute won the bid for the Malaysia power plant project] Recently, China Energy Construction China Power Engineering Guangxi Institute successfully won the bid for an important energy project in Sabah, Malaysia: the general contracting project of 100 MW dual-fuel peaking power plant. Located at the Kimanis Power Plant about 65km southwest of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, the project aims to expand the existing facility to add six natural gas and diesel dual-fuel internal combustion engine generator sets with a total installed capacity of 100 MW. The project, which is expected to last 18 months, is scheduled to be officially put into commercial operation in March 2026, marking another important breakthrough for Chinese energy construction companies in overseas markets.
