[The 3rd South African International Industrial Exhibition opens in Johannesburg] On September 20, 2024, the 3rd South African International Industrial Exhibition and China International Trade Fair opened at Hall 1 of the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg on the 19th. Over 200 Chinese manufacturers and government departments and business associations from southern African countries set up booths on site, aiming to promote high-quality development of China Africa cooperation. Focusing on key areas such as technological progress, the docking of the the Belt and Road Initiative, the 2024 Forum on China Africa Cooperation Summit, and the promotion of township economy, this exhibition will showcase advanced technologies and equipment in such fields as numerical control machine tools, auto parts, agricultural machinery, industrial equipment and accessories, electric equipment, renewable energy, and building materials, providing a gateway for South African companies to establish long-term partnerships with Chinese exhibitors, South African township enterprises to establish links with international manufacturers, strengthen bilateral trade, and promote regional economic development. • [Kaiping International Wealth Plaza lays foundation and starts construction]
• The groundbreaking ceremony for the Kaiping International Wealth Plaza project, with a total investment of 180 million yuan, officially kicked off the construction. This project is undertaken by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau and is one of the key projects promoting the "High Quality Development Project of Hundred Counties, Thousand Towns, and Ten Thousand Villages" in Kaiping City. The project is located in Sanbu Street, Kaiping City, with a total construction area of approximately 32000 square meters. It will build a 15 story hotel and a 7-story office building, as well as a commercial podium. After completion, it will integrate accommodation, business, catering, and entertainment, becoming another important urban commercial complex and new landmark in Kaiping City.
