On September 24, 2024, Tajikistan Prime Minister Rasulzova met with Chen Wenqing, a visiting member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, in Dushanbe.

Since last year, the two heads of state have jointly announced the construction of a China Tajikistan community of shared future characterized by intergenerational friendship, solidarity, and mutual benefit, and the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era. This has pointed out new directions and established new goals for the future development of bilateral relations.

Chen Wenqing stated that currently, both China and Tajikistan are at a critical stage of national development and revitalization. China is willing to work with Tajikistan to jointly promote the establishment of a community of common destiny between China and Tajikistan, actively implement the three major global initiatives, promote the joint construction of the the Belt and Road, deepen law enforcement and security cooperation, properly address various threats and challenges in the region, and better benefit the two peoples.
