[Xinjiang Electric Power Transmission Lights Up Thousands of Homes]On September 29, 2024, on the vast land of Xinjiang in the northwest border of China, there are endless energy treasures hidden. As the "Three Bases and One Channel" designated by the central government, Xinjiang is contributing to the country's economic development and energy security through its strong energy strength and the "Xinjiang Electricity Transmission" project. Xinjiang is a treasure trove of energy, with abundant resources of coal, solar energy, and wind energy. The cumulative proven coal resources rank second in the country, wind energy resources rank second in the country, and the theoretical reserves of solar energy resources account for 40% of the country's technically exploitable reserves, ranking first in the country. Xinjiang, with such superior conditions, has a bright prospect for the development of the energy industry. The 'West East Electricity Transmission' has become an important means to ensure the balance of power supply and demand in the central and eastern regions and promote coordinated regional economic development. The ongoing implementation of the "Xinjiang Electricity Transmission" project is of great significance in promoting the intensive development of Xinjiang's energy base and transforming Xinjiang's resource advantages into economic advantages.
