On November 13, 2024 local time, the Moroccan National Railways Authority (ONCF) awarded the 10th section of the Kenitra Marrakesh high-speed railway project in Morocco to China Overseas Land Development Corporation.
The winning bid for the 10th section is 61 kilometers long, with a contract period of 32 months and a project contract amount of 135 million US dollars. It mainly includes earthworks, engineering structures, and modernization of the existing Casablanca line.
