The Panamanian ship "Kangshun 99" recently docked at Yangluo Port in Wuhan, transporting 7968.78 tons of Indonesian nickel raw materials back to Greentown. Relying on the international direct shipping route from Rabota Port to Yangluo Port in Indonesia, this "nickel metal corridor" has completed 34 shipments this year, with a throughput of 94811.073 tons. Among them, the international direct cargo volume from Yangluo Port in Wuhan from January to May was 108100 tons, exceeding the total volume in 2018 and reaching a new high in nearly a decade.
This route is specifically designed for the Greentown Indonesia Industrial Park. Previously, the company's raw materials needed to be transferred through Guangzhou and Lianyungang, but now the transportation time has been reduced by 7-10 days, resulting in a significant reduction in overall logistics costs. The Hankou Border Inspection Station has implemented full process digital customs clearance, reducing the inspection time for crew members to 30 minutes. The annual production capacity of 1 million tons of nickel hydrometallurgical intermediate products (MHP) in the Greenmei Indonesia park is converted into new energy vehicle battery materials after direct transportation from Yangluo Port.
China Indonesia technology cooperation is deepening synchronously, and Greenmei is jointly building laboratories with the local area to cultivate metallurgical talents. The route not only solves the problem of China's nickel resource shortage (China's reserves account for 2.45% of the world's total, while Indonesia accounts for 42%), but also promotes the upgrading of Wuhan Yangluo Port from a "location hub" to a "value hub", injecting momentum into the global green energy transformation.
