Senegal is vigorously promoting a significant road reconstruction project: the reconstruction of approximately 160 kilometers of road between Senoba and Zijinsha'er, which costs $204 million.

This highway, as part of National Highway 4, holds a significant strategic position. It is like a link that can not only improve the transportation efficiency within Senegal, significantly shorten the travel time between Senoba and Zijinsha'er, but also make the flow of people and materials smoother and more efficient; We will also improve transportation connections with neighboring Gambia, build more convenient bridges for trade and cultural exchanges between regions, and promote the process of regional economic integration.

In terms of employment, the project is playing a positive role, providing Senegal with much-needed construction jobs, easing employment pressure to a certain extent, and bringing tangible benefits to the local people.

The progress of the project cannot be achieved without the collaborative efforts of all parties involved. The planning work is carefully managed by the African Development Bank, which has laid a solid foundation for the project with its professional planning capabilities and rich experience; The construction work is the responsibility of Senegal's Ministry of Infrastructure and Land and Air Transport to ensure that the project progresses in an orderly manner according to plan. The Engineering and Road Management Bureau takes on the management responsibilities of the project, ensuring the quality and progress of the project.
