[China Energy Engineering won the bid for the 450 MW wind power project in Inner Mongolia] Recently, China Energy Jianhua North Institute successfully won the bid for the integrated wind solar hydrogen production project in Wushen Banner, Inner Mongolia, and will undertake the EPC general contracting construction of a 450 MW wind power generation project. This project is a key new energy project in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, adopting an integrated model of wind and solar power generation+energy storage+green hydrogen production+chemical application. The project includes the comprehensive construction of a 450 MW wind farm, a 35 kV collection line, and a 220 kV substation (including energy storage system). After the completion of the project, the generated green electricity will be specifically used to produce green hydrogen and green oxygen, which will be transported through pipelines to the Zhongtian Hechuang Green Carbon Reduction Upgrade Project, replacing the existing coal to ash hydrogen production. This project will effectively promote the low-carbon transformation of the coal chemical industry, and is expected to reduce tens of thousands of tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, providing substantial support for achieving the dual carbon goals and injecting green new momentum into Inner Mongolia's efforts to build a national important energy and strategic resource base. • On April 3, 2026, the domestically developed maximum diameter 13.2-meter hard rock TBM by CCCC Tianhe started construction in Changshu. The machine is equipped with 7600 domestically produced rare earth special steel main bearings developed by the Institute of Metals, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a rated life of over 15000 hours and performance exceeding imports. This move marks China Communications Construction Corporation's first achievement of 100% localization of core components for ultra large diameter tunneling machines, completely bridging the last mile of national production of major underground engineering equipment in China.Editor/Cheng Liting
