[Dongfang Wind Power plans to build its first overseas factory in Türkiye] Recently, Dongfang Wind Power, the core subsidiary of China Dongfang Electric Group, is negotiating with the government of Türkiye about the plant construction. If the negotiation is successful, Türkiye will become the first overseas factory location of Dongfang Wind Power, and the company will also compete with Nordex and Enercon, two major wind turbine manufacturers, in the local market. Dongfang Wind Power's business covers the research and development, manufacturing, and service of onshore and offshore wind turbines, and its products have been exported to more than 10 countries worldwide. In the domestic market, the company has established over 15 (including ongoing) main engine manufacturing bases, with the ability to produce wind turbines with an annual output of over 10GW. The overseas factory construction plan is a key measure for Dongfang Wind Power to expand its international market in 2025, which will further enhance its competitiveness in the international wind power field.
